The Society for Freshwater Science (SFS) taxonomic certification tests will be offered before the main AMAAB meeting again this year on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Attendees who would like to take an SFS certification test should indicate that on their AMAAB registration form when it is available; but in the meantme, they can contact Mike Broomall ([email protected]) at Stroud Water Research Center to register and pay for the test by March 9, 2026.
There will also be a FREE beta testing for an SFS fish taxonomic exam and certification for PA, MD, or VA on Tuesday, March 24, after the macroinvertebrate taxonomic testing. There is a limit of 20 participants. Contact Mike Broomall ([email protected]) if you would like to participate.
